Subject: National Sales Tax Comment: Why is it taking so long to get something done about taxes? A national sales tax could be inplemented in a short time period if all red tape were cut out. With a national sales tax it would get everyone that spends in the USA. People that work "under ground" for cash, etc. If they want something they would have to pay a tax to get it. I would suggest no tax on legal drugs or food but tax everthing else. The consumer would save millions each year not paying CPA's and attorneys to help them figure out the wounderful system we have at present. Think of all the money that would be saved by cutting way down the employees of the IRS alone! The government would then have more money than they would know what to do with, well I should not say that as I am sure they could find many a "Pork Project" to blow the windfall on! Please, lets do something about this tax problem soon! Thank you. |
