Subject: Favored Reform Method Comment: After reviewing the FairTax proposal for tax reform over the past couple of years, it seems to me that this proposal is well thought out. A great deal of time and effort have been expended to develope the FairTax and analyze the impact of implementing this tax system. I urge your careful consideration of this proposed solution to our current tax morass. I do not think a VAT is an improvement ove3r our current tax code, and a combination of Income and VAT systems would be disastrious for the economy and the country.
