Comment: The Fair Tax plan (HR25) although not perfect (nor is any system of taxation) certainly is fair to everyone rich and poor, because of the pre-bate that would be given up to the poverty line.
Nobody pays taxes up to the poverty line, as it should be. One of the main benefits is the billions (hundreds of) of dollars that are in crime and the "underground" economy that will be put back into the system. Criminals have to buy retail products. We waste billions each year on tax preparation costs that could otherwise be added to the economy. Come on folks on the tax reform panel, open your eyes, your minds, see the big picture, don't cave to the K street loobyists.
