Subject: Fair Tax Comment: Based on statements attributed to your committee, it is obvious to me that none of you have read or even considered the so-called "Fair Tax". If you have read the book or the legislation draft you would realize that it truly is the fairest of all taxes. It seems to me that what you are doing is applying a bit of window dressing, calling it reform and then moviong on. Truth be told, you are not interested in actually making the tax system neutral. There are just too many perks and too much power for the politicians in the existing code...and who among you wants to divest power? I hope the American citizens wake up and see how you are railroading the best attempt ever to actually reform the system. |
