Subject: tax reform Comment: please reform the current tax system. my opinion is that a fair tax, or even a national sales tax would be a great step towards reducing the cost of our govermement(i.e. IRS costs), while reducing the tax burden (money and effort spent conforming to the tax laws) on the average american. i don't think it's fair that entire industries (tax accountants and attorneys) should survive because of an inefficient tax system. i also understand that we've placed a much more fair system in Iraq. why can't we suffer a little more to get to a system that won't continue to the weigh on the american economy (i.e., the 11 billion budget of the IRS.)? thanks for listening, |
