Subject: Why not reform?

Comment: Most of the United States that follows tax code and understands what system is in place realizes that what we have now is broken and, barring the 16th amendment to the Constitution, illegal. Income tax and the code we are under was never a viable solution for the framers of our country. Why not encourage true reform through a plan sponsored by many in Congress, the FairTax bill. It is listed as H.R. 25, and it proposes sweeping changes that are both fair and reasonable. Yes it would amount to a national retail sales tax, however, I challenge you to publish in detail your misgivings for something of this nature as I have seen the side of the proponents and it makes a whole lot more sense than what we currently have and what you as a panel are suggesting we "revise". Thank you.
