Subject: Fair Tax H.R. 25 Comment: I am disappointed with the results of this panel. The only true tax reform is to scrap (not alter) the current tax code. The fair tax (H.R. 25) is needed to spur economic growth and to bring simplicity to our revenue needs. No citizen should spend the amount of time and money we do now reading the tax code or enlisting accountants or lawyers to comply with current tax law. We need a national sales tax. I hope and pray that this panel is not just another rubber stamp for the special interest or lobbyist. |
