Subject: Automatic Tax - NO! Comment: Of all the proposed tax plans I have seen, the worst I can imagine is the "Automatic Tax". Proponents say it is automatic so we won't even feel it. But we must "feel" our taxes to the point there should not even be withholding. And we do not want banks or other financial institutions to be collecting our taxes. And the idea of government getting a certain percentage of every transaction we make, whether we loose money or make money on the deal, is just absurd. The "Automatic Tax" is just about the opposite of the tax reform we should have. |
