Subject: Tax Reform

Comment: I believe you have completely failed in your mission as outlined by President Bush. You were to simplify the tax code. You instead recommend to make it more complicated by capping health coverage deductions for businesses. You were to encourage home ownership. Instead, you recommend to reduce the amount that homeowners can deduct for mortgage interest. You do realize in many parts of the country, a $350,000 home is considered modest??

You completely dismissed the FairTax plan. You relied on someone's biased interpretation of it instead of getting information directly from Congressman Linder, the sponsor of the bill.

I strogngly suggest you all resign immediately and make way for a panel that is interested in true tax reform. Obviously you are not.
