Subject: Reform Panel? Comment: I'm confused how such a large group of people can waste so much time and effort to completely negelect the three directives they received from the President. The best and greatest reform to be introduced to your panel was the FairTax (H.R. and S. 25). Please consider the FairTax proposal again. It is the best way to respond to the three requests the President sent you: 1. it simplifies the tax code, and nearly eliminates compliance costs. 2. the tax burden is shared by everyone who spends above the poverty level. Homeownership and charity will increase. 3. America will become the tax haven of the world: TRILLIONS will return to the U.S. Investment and savings will increase. |
