Subject: Fair Tax Comment: I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in he President's Tax Reform Panel, the President, and the Republican party! The panel's incompetent, shabby, work etrays the conservative cause. I am so angry, that if they are not disbanded and their one side political hack not rebuked, I will probably change my party affiliation to Libertarian, even if it means that Democrats win. The Fair Tax was not even looked at. The effects on the Economy, trade, growth, compliance cost were not even looked at. NONE of the tax reform experts, such as Jorgenson at Harvard, and Kotikoff at Boston U. testified. Again if this is not immediately turned around, IT WILL BE THE END OF THE REPUBLICAN PARTY PERIOD!!!!!! Mike Mason |
