Subject: Implement a fair system Comment: You should abandon the notion of a progressive tax system and adhere to the principals of the Constitution. Equal protection under the law is compromised by taxing some individuals at a higher rate than others. The fact that one can afford to pay taxes at a higher rate does not mean that a duty to do so exisists. Read HR 25 and recommend that the President use his bully pulpit to get this legislation passed. |
