Subject: H.R.25

Comment: Dear sir or madam,
I stand with the many Americans who desire to see meaningful tax reform in our country. The current tax system is burdensome and antiquated. The tax brackets used are unfair and in effect punish success in the form of greater tax burdens on the wealthy.

I have studied and researched the Fair Tax Act (H.R. 25, written by Rep. John Linder) and I can see no drawbacks to this plan. The bill will accomplish all of President Bush's objectives. So I submit that the 16th amendment be repealed, the current tax system abolished, and a consumption tax be set in its place.

Thank you for considering my comments and I look forward to seeing much needed change come out of this panel.

Sincerely,
Joshua Horne
