Subject: New tax reform Comment: The proposal, being discussed by President Bush's tax reform panel, would no longer allow homeowners to deduct property taxes and would reduce the amount of deductible mortgage interest. This is going to KILL Long Islanders who pay an enormous amount of taxes as it stands. This is a slick way of not raising taxes. I would have voted John Kerry had I known your Administration would do something like this. |
