Subject: Fair Tax Comment: One of the reasons the founding fathers of this country fought for independence was to avoid unfair taxation. The Fair Tax will give America back to her citizens. Many of the arguments I see against it are factually inaccurate. This idea is something Americans rally around once they are aware of it. I haven’t met a person yet who doesn’t believe the Fair Tax isn’t better than the current system. One comment I commonly hear is “the politicians won’t pass that because it takes away their power”. Their power lies with the voters on Election Day and I will work diligently to get my congressman on board.
