Subject: Taxation on Health Benefits Comment: The taxation on heatlh benefits would be the dagger in the back for many employer provided health plans. As an employer we already are combating the perceived value of health benefits by our employees in the single vs family arena. We constantly hear the comment that "I am single with no dependents, and rarely go the doctor, so health insurance in not that important." Now the government is thinking about taxing these benefits! Let's get real. There are enough tax loopholes that need to closed before we start thinking about taxing health benefits. |
