Subject: FairTax HR25

Comment: By reforming, properly reforming, the tax system, President Bush will show not only the country but the world that he is forward-thinking and working in the 'best' interests of this country's economy. The old ways just aren't working anymore. We need to really 'shake up' the system and put in place a tax system that is fair and transparent (yes, a description that has legislators balking) and honest; based on consumption, not income. American small businesses compete and thrive through creative, courageous, out-of-the-box thinking – not by continuing the same methods because that is how it has always been done! Our current income tax exports our jobs, rather than our products, but the FairTax allows U.S. exports to sell overseas for prices 22% lower, on average, than they do now – with similar profit margins. Lower prices sharply increase demand for U.S. exports, thereby increasing job creation in our country’s manufacturing sectors. America will be virtually the only country selling products abroad at prices that do not include a tax component in the price. As a result, multinational companies will flock to setup shop in the U.S. This is a win-win situation for all. Get rid of the current 'dishonest' system that only benefits the extremely wealthy. Put America back on the map for innovation and and a tax system that is Fair For EveryOne!! The FairTax. Put this in place, Mr. President, during your term and there will be a Republican in the White House for years to come. Thank you.
