Subject: IRS punishes sick people

Comment: Preamble Ramble: for http://www.stompyourgutsout.com
Did you know, In the United States of America, recovering from illness is a crime? I had no idea and was shocked to learn this. It is a crime, seemingly skewing constitutional protection. This isn't the same Uncle Sam we all know and love! This one is cranky mean soag. With our two party systems, it seems Old Uncle Sam has better things to do than pick on the weak. I love this country and the freedom we have compared to other countries. America is a place where its citizens should feel secure. How can we feel secure, when it is the policy for bureaucracies, like the IRS, a necessary organization, to usurp compassion and stomp on people with illness, to collect dollars that were lost due to personal unavoidable tragedy? If you become homeless due to illness, or alcoholism, or drug abuse, then the IRS will reduce your tax liability in an offer in compromise. However, you must stay a drunk, stoned or ill to qualify. If there is any chance they can collect in the future, you will not be qualified for OIC. But through no fault of your own, if you become a victim of some debilitating illness that causes loss of income, typically you will not be able to pay the prior years taxes if you owe. When or if you recover you will still have to pay the tax, which is possibly reasonable, but you will find yourself having been found guilty of a crime without a trial by jury. Penalties and interest are charged you. Look up “penalty” in Webster if you need to. In my case, $4000 was allegedly owed. But my Penalties and interest were $19,000 or there about. Penalty is a punishment for violating societal rules. My means of payment of these taxes through my new business I started has been shut down by the IRS with a Tax Lien. They are just ruthlessly mean and evil apparently. “No you can’t off a compromise, and even though you been showing good faith by making agreed payments, were going to kill your business so it will really be tough to pay. That is just cruel and unusual punishment. Somebody in the IRS is just a sicko. So stay sick or else you will become a victim of IRS extortion. For some reason they get away with it. Go figure. It is ruining what little hope of a future I ever had. I got swamped by my own little IRS hurricane. I went through the Offer in compromise but the IRS has peculiar math that creates wealth from thin air and defies the logic of a typical P&L statement. My negative balance of 130k debt on a P&L contradicts there balance of 100k assets. Hummm.
