Subject: Fair Tax Comment: The Fair Tax rids once and for all the terrible burden imposed on Americans, especially the poor, young, and disadvantaged of the income tax burden along with the cost of filing. If Americans, all of us get to take home our full paycheck employment will boom, prices will decrease because of the elimination of the imbedded cost to businesses and industry. Our domestic manufacturing and exports will have a huge advantage over foreign imports there fore Americans will buy America, simply because competition will decrease domestic prices giving our balance of trade a great boost in Americas favor. Exports should boom because it will simply cost less by approximately 20% to provide American services and manufacture American products. President Bush will go down in history as the greatest economic president of our time if he is able to provide this great service for our children and grandchildren. I am 66 years old and it does not matter what you recommend you probably can not hurt me but for our children and grandchildren elimination of the IRS and income tax along with repel of the 16th amendment would be the greatest legacy and the greatest benefit for the future of this country that could possible happen in our life time. Also, those who work for cash and the small businesses like convenience stores restaurants, carpenters, landscapers and literally millions of Americans who deal in cash along with almost all of the illegal aliens would finally be paying their taxes like the rest of us law abiding Americans. God bless you for your efforts and thanks from the bottom of my heart. I have dreamed that some politician would see the light and truly reform the tax code for many many years.
