Subject: tax reform Comment: I believe a flat tax rate would work the best. It would eliminate loopholes and bureaucracy. It could lessen the tax burden for many, and at the same time increase government revenue-which could be used to decrease the federal deficit and to repay the social security trust fund of the two out of three dollars that have been diverted to "other programs". I've heard the idea of seventeen percent which would work for most-with the possible reduction for the working poor and small businesses. Thank You. |
