Instead of trying to reform the tax system of the U. S. just get ride of it. Replace it with the FAIR TAX. Nothing could be more simple.

From what I have heard thus far, the only recommendations that are being made is to impose a deduction limit of home mortgages. WOW. Don't you think you could come up with something better than that. My wife and I are both RNs. We do not make that much money -- but yet we are in the higher income tax bracket. I make $2500.00 twice a month. I see $1700 of that. Therefore I have $1600 per month taken from gross income. Therefore $19,200 is taken from my paycheck every year to pay taxes. That is 32% of my income.

Let me pay a direct 26% federal sales tax, and eliminate the rest of this garbage.
