Subject: disguist with LA Times article Comment: I recently read an article in the LA Times about your possible "tax reform" ideas to submit to the President. It mentioned reducing the mortgage interest deduction and changing healthcare deductions for businesses. Wow! It took you geniuses this long to come up with that? What about the Fair Tax? Is it too simple for the federal government or just not Marxist enough? Maybe the lobbyists got to you... I have been looking forward to hearing your proposals for months, and I am extremely disappointed. The Fair Tax would transform this country into a tax haven for the rest of the world and eliminate all the headaches associated with every April. Our current system punishes hard work and forces companies to send jobs overseas and investors to send money overseas. For once I thought something good would come out of Washington, but I can't say I'm surprised. |
