Subject: Tax Reform

Comment: I want to register my disappointment with the tax reform proposal that came out today, Oct. 11, 2005. This does not decrease the complexity of the tax filing process at, does not decrease the amount of money spent to comply with the current tax code and does not equally place the tax burden on the American citizens. These suggestions continue to penalize people who make something of themselves and don't want to live off government handouts.
I am in favor of the fair tax reform. I will let my congresspeople know that this is what I think will bring about true reform in the tax code. I will also let them know that if true reform doesn't take place, the best way I can make a statement is through the polls.
Let it be known that the current tax recommendations fall very short of what needs to take place for the economy and the American way of life to continue to grow. Vote for the fair tax - flat tax reform.
Thank you very much.
