Subject: Mileage Tax Deduction Comment: My wife and I volunteer several times a week using our own cars. It seems very unfair that we are only able to deduct 14 cents a mile, especially with the current cost of gas. We are on fixed income as are many retireds who volunteer. This should be at least doubled or given the same rate as gov't allowed mileage. Thank you. |
