Subject: Your Mission and The Fair Tax Comment: The Panel's goal as I read it: Review Tax reform proposals, identify ways to make the tax code simpler, fairer and more Pro-Growth. I cannot imagine how you think you're fulfulling those aims when you dismiss the Fair Tax Proposal (HR 25). Either you don't understand the Fair Tax Proposal or you wish to cater to the politicians in Washington who fear a loss of power if they lose the avenue of confiscating our pay before we ever receive it. I am not happy with your work. You're wasting our money at this very moment and your suggestions thus far have been weak...very weak. |
