Every American who is paying taxes needs to receive the same benefits as other Americans. This is 2005; discrimination against Americans needs to end now! Examples of Unfair Taxation that need to be remedied: • Unmarried couples pay taxes on their partner's health insurance that is provided by their employer • You can't use your flexible medical account for your partner's medical costs • Your retirement benefits for your partner will be taxed higher than a married couple • Children of same-sex parents may not be recognized as dependents for tax purposes |
