Politicians have to know what the American people desire and desperately need. Lobbyists need to know how to further twist the tax code so a group gets preferential treatment from the government outside of the free market. This is a skill you have shown your mastery in. The American people are now more educated than ever about the SHAM of corporate taxes and the damage they cause this nation thanks to “The FairTax Book.” They know the current system is falling apart at the seams and the only people it benefits are those OUTSIDE the US and those involved in the interpretation of the convoluted mess we call the federal tax code. The FairTax is the very best thing you could do for this nation. But by taking the federal government and the complexity of the tax code out of American’s life decisions, politicians lose valued power. Something I fear you have already discovered. |
