Subject: Federal Tax Reform Comment: I know of no way to make statesmen out of poiticians, so the fairest tax to all of the people is a flat tax. It is the simplest and therefore the hardest to meddle with. My second joice would be a strait sales tax. With the lowest rate being applied to food and clothing. Lastly a VAT tax. Any of the above is better than the current system which is constantly being tampered with for special interest and is not fully understood by anyone. Respectfuly Don Gardner |
