Comment: Madams & Sirs, If we the working people have to pay taxes before our health insurance is paid, why are not the persons in prisons getting free benefits of health care and room and board and not pay taxes? I feel those persons that are in prisons or jails getting those kind of benefits that we the working people that can afford to pay for health insurance and our room and board should not have to foot the inmates bills. They got in there of their own wish even though they did not walk in there on their own because a judge put them there. They knew they were doing wrong and got caught. A lot of them got to prisons or jails just so that they don't have to work to earn a living. There are some states that get their prison inmates work to pay for their benefits and taxes. It is not fair to the working, tax paying citizen to support them when we already have enough to support with their families and then some can't make ends meet and do without. We also have people in our country that are working and paying taxes and still can not afford to buy health insurance for their families. It is even less fair for them, while prison inmates get free and great health care. While these grown adults getting health benefits, we have a lot of children that are not getting medical care even though there is some state program that do not reach them. Those state health programs are to get even less funding because of the poor economy. The prison and jail inmate and the very rich they have all the loophole to avoid paying taxes. Where are the loopholes for the middle class? If we all were to go to prison (the middle class and the ones that are barely making ends meet), to get health care and room and board, where would the taxes dollars be coming from to support our governments?
