Subject: tax reform Comment: I think the tax code needs to be simplified. It is very complicated and the only ones that understand it are the accountants. The rates need to decrease. Now they penalize the ones that work. A flat tax would be nice if it could not be increased with each administration. If a flat tax were initiated then the mortage deduction, charity deduction, and retirement plans should remain. That would encourage people to help others and save for their own retirement.
