Comment: Dear Distinguished Members: I urge you to seriously consider the FAIR Tax legislation as presented by US Rep. John Linder. It not only creates a more equitable way to fund the Federal Government but allows for a more stable and reliable source of revenue while including everyone who purchases goods in the United States. It would fully fund the Federal Government and would even go a long way toward eliminating the looming Social Security and Medicare crises. It is a win-win-win situation, the American people win, the Federal Government wins and the politicians win for using common sense and logic while doing what is correct for the American people.
