Subject: Support for a national sales tax Comment: I support the national sales tax plan to replace our current method of taxation. By implimenting a national sales tax we would : 1. Eliminate most of the IRS payroll 2. Remove most record keeping required of business and self employed 3. Eliminate the need for CPA's and tax lawyers. 4. Allow taxation of the underground economy which is almost as large as the legal economy. 5. Encourage personal savings 6. Make the actual cost of the government transparent. |
