Subject: Tax reform recommendations Comment: I watched the tax panel discussion on TV, and quite frankly you guys scare the hell out of me. As educated as you might be, a little reality roll playing is absolutely neccessary to make it clearer that reducing the mortage interest deduction would cripple certain areas of the Unites States. This surely would prevent the investment of money into our economy and of course would drive real estate prices down, but we're not looking for a major depression, now, are we? Come on, get your thinking caps on. Give the interest rates increases a little time to respond, and think outside the box. |
