Subject: Mortage Interest Deduction Comment: As a fellow conservative, I can not believe you would suggest limiting and changing the interest deduction on home owners. This is outrage since folks who have homes in the East and West coast have mortgages over $350K. Where did you come up with that number? If you want to be fair about taxation, tax Edward Kennedy with his $800 million and municipal interest he lives tax free on. Taxing a certain amount of heritance would be an outrage, but better than taxing the middle class trying to work their way up the ladder. What about the AMT? I am tired of paying it. Most Americans do not understand what it means. Why not reduce the pork and spending that our government does first before beating up the middle class who pay your salary? |
