Subject: Congratulations, You're Fired! Comment: This is exactly what the President should tell each and every person on the Tax Reform Panel, and the sooner, the better. If anyone on this panel ever had the experience of running their own business or creating jobs in the private sector, they would understand that the recommendations in their preliminary report were an admission of a failed job and would simply resign in disgrace. But after all, these are not the types of people with which we are dealing. Even President Bush should be ashamed of the people he appointed to this panel. Luckily, we still have our members of Congress to go to, and since they actually have to be accountable to the American people, we may still have a chance for real tax reform. The Tax Reform (LOL) Panel is an embarrassment to all freedom-loving people in this country. |
