Subject: Fair Tax

Comment: I would support a consumption tax in the place of the current system. Under the consumption tax plan, it would relieve an enormous load off of the individual. They would not have to fill out pages and pages of forms and have to spend hours of their time making sure they remembered to put down every single tax-exempt item to save every cent.
It would also be easier and much cheaper for the government. The amount of money spent by the government to collect taxes, audit, and employ so many people would be virtually nonexistant with the consumption tax, thereby reducing the rate at which the national debt is increasing.
Therefore, I urge that you support the Fair Tax for the benifit of the people and the government.
