Subject: Taxing employee benefits Comment: Many times our benefit package is what helps us in getting quality employees. That could change if we start taxing benefits. This might move people to a little higher salary instead of benefits. And then what benefits do we tax? We have an EAP and several other things not just health, dental and accident. Our government at work can always be depended upon to make things more confusing and complicated. Why not have a tax amount for each earning bracket with no deductions. You pay that each year and you are done. That way everyone pays there fair share. |
