Comment: It doesn't make sense to me that I should "pay" someone to prepare my income tax so I can "pay". So I do my best to prepare my own tax. I propose a change to SALES TAX with provisions for those who are considered poor. Such as no tax on food which is a basic need for all. The Sales tax method would also eliminate the IRS which will be a big savings. Another plus is that it would be impossible for tax evaders to not pay an equal share. Another plus is that those who are dishonest would not be able to evade their fair share. Thanks, Lynn Baxter |
