Subject: Tax reform Comment: The best way to reform is to pass the Fairtax. If you will read the book, it will become clear that it is the best way to promote our economy. There is considerable pressure to keep the present system in tact so that lobbyists can continue to work the system for tax benefits for their sector and caring not at all about the entire economy. Members of Congress like the income tax so that they can be seen as granting favors to their constituents by just tinkering with the code. The election will be the time for a cleaning out those members that do not support real reform. |
