Subject: Fair Taxation

Comment: As a women's business leader in the Philadelphia PA region (former President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners; National
Founding Partner of Women Impacting Public Policy; Marketing Vice President of the International Alliance for Women: member of PA Business Leaders for John Kerry; and member of the Allyson Schwartz for Congress Committee), and a wife, mother and a daughter to sick and aged parents, I am concerned that tax reform recommendations produce a fair and equitable process for all Americans as invididuals and small business owners. As a business owner, I do not want to see any changes that increase our taxes either directly or indirectly (an example would be the Alternative Minimum Tax) or cut much needed social programs that aid our disadvantaged members of society. This is possible if we address government waste; consolidate similar programs that use taxpayers money (Labor Department and SBA come to mind); and ensure that all companies big and small pay their fair share of the tax burden.

I would be very happy to speak with any of the committe or share my thoughts further.
