Subject: Health Benefits Tax

Comment: At a time when the cost of health insurance continues to escalate, when more people are becoming uninsured and having to rely on Medicaid, when the administration is proposing REDUCING Medicaid benefits, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to propose taxing the cost of health insurance benefits. Families that I deal with on a daily basis (I am an insurance broker) are struggling to make ends meet, facing ever higher costs of care and premiums. To further complicate their situation by taxing the cost of the benefit provided by their employers would make their plight worse. I certainly hope you come to realize the great disservice such a proposal would be to the American public.
