Subject: H.R. 25 Comment: I strongly urge your panel to study the FairTax bill, H.R. 25 and to read The FairTax Book written by Congressman John Lindler and Neal Boortz. I believe this bill would provide an outstanding replacement for the IRS and the current tax scheme. Although I am retired and no longer have much taxable income, I believe the FairTax would have an extremely positive impact on the nation's economy and be a much simpler and fairer system than we now endure. I believe it is far superior to the flat tax proposals. Thank you. |
