Comment: The FairTax is the only way to solve the problem that has been assigned to you. It helps home ownership and charity more than any other proposal you've heard. It's great for everyone in America. It's simple, honest, fair to all, and free of the complexity and need to constantly augment that the current system and all the other proposals are saddled with. Please don't hide your heads in the sand. List all the principles that you hold dear about this subject and you will see that the FairTax is faithful to each and every one of them. And it is so much more. If you think that a federal tax system just has to be complex in order to be good and proper, then you still have blinders on. It doesn't have to be complex at all.
