Subject: Tax reform panel Comment: I would support pre-prepared tax returns but only if I can edit them. How would the government know how much charitable giving I can deduct? I strongly support a national sales tax in lieu of income tax. I do not support a flat tax. While I am strongly opposed to high taxes and government waste, I think a weighted income tax is fair. In general, please reduce our taxes and limit government spending. My wife and I are taxed way beyond what we feel is necessary for the government to properly function. Thank you for your time. |
