Subject: Please consider Tax Replacement

Comment: To whom it may concern,

I am concerned with the burdensome american tax code. It has gotten to the point where the average American is wasting huge amounts of time and money in tax preperation each year. I have been following your panel's announcements in the news. I must admit to being VERY disappointed. From what I have heard you are simply going to recommend that we further complicate our tax code. Eliminating the mortgage deduction and taxing the rich more are NOT tax reform. That is both shortsighted and ignorant. What we need to do is completely replace the tax code with a simple method and one that helps the economy rather than hurt it. The current tax system is based on Marxist ideology that has failed every country that has implemented these strategies. It is time to dump our burdensome and toxic tax code in favor of a consumption tax. This willsimplify the code and compliance, help the poor, fully fund the government and cause the American economy to take off like never before.

If you have not already done so please read The FairTax Book. It is a great introduction to the bills before the congress H.R. 25 and S. 25.

Please don't fail the American people by perpetuating the lie that our tax code is fundamentally ok. It needs to be replaced.

Sincerely,

Christopher Brehm
