Subject: Panel Recommendations

Comment: I am stunned by and disappointed in your recommendations to increase taxes for businesses and homeowners, rather than reform the existing tax system. In no way do these recommendations address the mission set forth by President Bush. It is not your charge to set financial policy to manage home purchse prices. You note in the WSJ that the Fair Tax Plan is too complicated--the current tax code is 90K pps! How complicated can the Fair Tax plan be compared to that? Perhaps you've disclosed the limits of your intellectual abilities. Go home, and leave the heavy lifting to those with the capacity to address the real issues in this country.
