Comment: Yesterday, I sent a commentary on your efforts per your request for public input. I would like to add to that commentary. To find out exactly what is important to Americans, may I suggest that you designate three banks, one each in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, as safe haven depositories: that is, no government agency or private person would be allowed to know who had savings accounts in those banks or be able to access such accounts. I think you would be shocked at the transfer of assets that would occur with such an action, if the bank's designation as such safe havens were broadly publicized.
