The effects of this will be so far reaching as to affect the entire economy in a negative way. One of the most major motivations for Americans to own homes is the tax break they get. I know it is one of the only ones my family even can take anymore and our decision to own a home was financially based on a tax break. Imagine if there is no incentive to owning a home. You are talking about killing the American Dream. Wake up and look elsewhere. If you want to simplify taxes bring on a flat tax - that's as simple as it gets but otherwise leave our few deductions alone! |
