Subject: Tax reforn Comment: I'm an accountant who does taxes for the AARP Tax Counseling for the Elderly (ITCE) program. The tax code has become so complex because of special benefits provided by Congress that few people can understand it let alone prepare a tax return. I would support any effort which whould simplify the process of preparing a return but provide the government with enough funds to operate. Either a flat tax or sales tax would accomplish that goal.
