Subject: The Fair Tax Comment: Nothing I have heard or read to date from the President's panel indicates a meaningful recommendation for tax reform. Many people have heard of the fair tax plan (Boortz, et al) and it addresses all the objectives that President Bush laid out for the panel to achieve. It also has elements to satisfy every interest in this country. To be sure, it would be a drastic change, but is also is the only way for long-term predictability and growth for the country. |
